The Appalachian Trail is one of the longest continuously marked footpath trails in the world, measuring roughly 2,180 miles in length. Several trail heads are located within a few miles of the campground and make for great day or weekend adventures.

Bristol Motor Speedway

This 1/2 mile concrete oval is located in Bristol and hosts two major NASCAR weekends per year and other seasonal events including the Holiday Light Show.

Gentry Falls Trail

Gentry Creek Falls is a 4.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee that features a waterfall.
